Come, See a Man…
In John 4, Jesus met a Samaritan woman who had a serious past, to say the least. This encounter was life-changing for her. She was never the same. She became the first evangelist recorded in scripture. “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?” John 4.29. She exhorted people to go see Jesus and consequently many believed on Him.
At the Well Ministries, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to duplicating the “well experience” in people’s lives by sharing Jesus one city at a time. We endeavor to empower people, make disciples and bring the reality of who Jesus is in the darkest places.
Our mission is to travel globally and tell people about the love of Jesus Christ. Whether it be food, clothes, toys, or baby food, we aspire to provide for those in need. We believe, however, that the most important place to preach the Gospel in word and deed is in our backyard. We strive to see families, friends, and neighbors know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Collectively, we also yearn to have a deep relationship with the Lord. Ministry without relationship is no ministry at all.
In the future we see the ministry bringing more people along on trips, and supporting others who want to minister on a full-time basis. Our goal is to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. We also want to teach them to do what we do, so people can ultimately branch off on their own. At The Well wants to show people just how easy and fun it is to minister.

Our team has been traveling together since the summer of 2014. Thus far, we’ve ministered in Philadelphia, New York, Trenton, Boston, Bangor, Charlotte, Baltimore, Detroit, Toledo, New Orleans, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, Denver, Houston, and Dallas. We’ve also ministered in European cities such as Paris, London, Amsterdam, Munich and African cities such as Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Harare. On these trips, we were able to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, wash feet, fund the poor, lay hands on the sick, provide showers and housing, minister in public schools, hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, and churches. We’ve been blessed to learn, teach, and love people the way Jesus loves us.
Mercy & Fire
Listen in as Edmee and Bevelyn talk about their adventures spreading the Gospel in Denver in July of 2017: from ministering to a former pastor who had fallen into despair and alcohol following the death of his first wife, and his new family which was in the throes of domestic abuse; to standing up righteously against Planned Parenthood alongside a couple who have spent the last twenty years of their lives rescuing women from abortion. The couple remains in contact with many of the moms and children they have saved and cherishes a beautiful photo album…
It’s In You
Las Vegas is known as a big party city, but the first thing that hit us was how overrated it is. Las Vegas is just a big city in the middle of a desert. The people who created it must have said, “Ok, let’s create a city in the middle of a desert where people can just get drunk and gamble!” So they dressed up the city with zillions of neon signs so at first glance it looks all glitzy and glamorous, but the after-effects are devastating. When we set out to go on a ministry trip to Las Vegas, people assumed that we’d spend most of our time in casinos, but we actually spent most of our time…
Through The Night

I can sense what Job went through. As the enemy has been throwing darts, torpedoes, and massive bombs on my life, I know better than to blame God for it. I have not and will not curse His name. I stand by the Father. It’s not easy by a long shot, but through this journey, my faith is growing so much. I’m reaping so many blessings in the spirit. Prayers I prayed a long time ago, prayers I’ve even forgotten are being answered. However, in the physical realm, it seems as if I’m a total failure.
If I did not know God, if I did not know that all things work for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose, I would have believed this lie. But for the grace of God, what I’ve been through would get anyone to lose their mind and renounce their faith. I wanted to give up on the mission and tried to throw in the towel so many times. Never in my mind though, did I want to turn off my faith and turn my eyes away from Jesus. I cried and cried and asked the Holy Spirit for guidance and peace on many nights. He gave that to me, and it has been what has kept me this far.
Through all these challenges, I have drawn closer to God in a whole new way. Any religiosity that makes the word of God of none effect is gone. I am in such a place of peace when it comes to my relationship with the Father. It’s no longer about my faith being a daily practice to keep God happy, and it is no longer about doing things to fit in the image of what a Christian is supposed to be according to the world. In this season, I can honestly say that I know where came from, and I know where I’m going. I have surrendered all of the desires of my will, and I have dedicated my life to serving God as He graces me to do so. Through it all, He’s been my provider, and He’s made miracles happen my life. So as I continue to take on this journey, dedicating myself to serving Him, I’m learning to align my thoughts with His thoughts and my plans with His plans.
