We arrived in London on June 7, 2016. Our previous mission trip was in France, so it was like a breath of fresh air to be in a country where English is the first language. We no longer had to depend on Edmee to translate. Thank God!
As soon as we arrived in LA, we took the opportunity to engage with our Uber driver and the lady who helped us at the car rental as Bevelyn had a specific word for her. The next day, Bevelyn wanted to hit Compton (you probably know why) and surprisingly we did not see much going on there.
The first day we arrived in San Francisco, we decided to go minister in The Tenderloin. We landed on Ellis Street and were pleasantly surprised to find Glide and YWAM. Those two Christian organizations have a tremendous impact in the area. On a side note, Glide was featured in the movie The Pursuit of Happyness.
