Love Truth

THE WELL DIARY

Isaiah 5:20

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Love Truth

More than ever, there is an agenda to bring confusion and chaos in people’s hearts and minds. Anything, any lie, any barrier, the enemy can erect for us to stay away from the truth, he will. His time is up and his only consolation is to see God’s children go down with him. One of the ways confusion flourishes is in calling what is good “evil” and what is evil “good”.

The world does a great job of embracing evil as a good thing and will find ways to excuse and bury its guilt with subtle wording. For instance, the act of murdering an unborn child in the womb is redefined as “terminating a pregnancy”. The unborn child is called a “fetus” or a “clump of cells”. What is true for the evil perpetrated by Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics is sadly true in many other areas. The works of the enemy which is to kill, steal and destroy are celebrated and embraced while it seems the church is lying dormant.

Unfortunately, calling evil good and good evil is not exclusively perpetrated by the world. The Church, at large, has had a role to play in it. When conducting funerals or, as some would say, homegoing services, we often hear pastors and ministers quote Job: “The Lord gave and the Lord took away”. Some would even go to the extent of saying that God needed that person who died of sickness or a car accident more in heaven than He needed them to be on earth. While these ministers may have good intentions, the works of the enemy are being attributed to God. God who is GOOD is covertly accused of doing evil while the enemy who is EVIL gets away with murder.

The good news is that the bride of Christ was given Holy Spirit to help her walk in relationship with Christ and see the way that He sees. If the bride continues in Him, she will know the truth and be set free. If the bride is rooted and grounded in Him, His love, she will know to take a stand for truth. She will know to be salt and light. She will know to call good “good” and evil “evil.”

Church! Will you rise to your proper place in today’s world and not forfeit your birthright for political correctness? Will you manifest your Groom in word and deed everywhere you go? Will you tell the truth as the world is groaning for the sons of God to manifest your Husband?
